The Roosevelt Academy was founded by a mother who understood the challenges of finding educational options for her son. She has committed herself to creating a new kind of school-one that would offer high quality education to students and families.
“I’m a mom, and I’m committed to and passionate about children, family, and education advocacy. After witnessing first hand how difficult it was for my autistic son to thrive in learning environments that could not meet his educational and social needs in both private and public schools, I knew I needed to create a safe space that could foster his unique developmental gifts.”
Thus, the concept for The Roosevelt Academy was born. A safe haven that offers a combination of the typical middle and high school experience in an intimate setting, with specialized classes and therapies to promote independence while learning essential life skills.
